The Basel Natural History Museum is one of the city’s oldest museums, and today holds over 7.7 million objects from the fields of biology, zoology, anthropology, and geology. Its main concern is research and knowledge transfer – but what is actually taught here? Young Swiss artists’ collective die Neue Dringlichkeit invites interested members of the public to a performative tour of the hallowed halls of this illustrious ‘archive of life’.
