Edward is a freedom fighter, heroine, and genius; voyeur, traitor (to the nation), and criminal; a part of the community, and yet still an outsider; everyone knows her but she remains anonymous. Basel artists Ariane Koch and Sarina Scheidegger have woven a textual fabric from conversations with Edward, one which deals with visible invisibility, awareness through disruption, unacceptable ways of life, and a clash between contradictory views on property ownership and privacy. Staged with four actors, their performance will be presented in a different private residence on each day of the festival.
