The work of Swiss artist Mats Staub moves between the spheres of the private, the hidden, and the public, with his long-term projects and installations collecting memories, living environments, and descriptions of selfhood. Together with 10 allies, Stab will conduct research throughout Dokumentartage, examining and sorting archive material from their own lives and the lives of others. The group aim to develop a simultaneously secret and public archive of memory, which will be presented to the public on the final day of the festival.
