In the Gintersdorfer/Klaßen theatre piece "Not Punk, Pololo", dance and club culture go hand in hand with observing, decoding and appropriating reality. Documentation simultaneously becomes an act with the potential to transform reality. This is how movement and dance become political forms.

To set the mood for the Gintersdorfer/Klaßen production, dramaturge Nadine Jessen will give an overview of the various subcultural codes and ciphers which are quoted and reinterpreted in the play. Jessen's lecture will base itself on the structure of a mix tape, facilitating associative speculations and bringing to light unconscious cultural differences.
